The seven-story, 264,428 SF Health Discovery Building provides space for 90 Principal Investigators in both wet and dry research groups focused on cancer, neuroscience, cardiopulmonary, metabolism, and genetics / genomics research. It also houses three major imaging modalities for research and clinical use. The 10-story, 239,370 SF Health Transformation Building has been designed as a flexible core + shell structure, with a 448,054 SF parking garage for 1,100 cars to serve the needs of the patients and staff. Connections between the upper levels of the two buildings serve to enhance synergies between research and clinical care at the Medical School. Both buildings are LEED Gold?.
